Is Digital Storytelling Functional in Socioscientific Issues? Pre-service Teachers' Experiences

This study sought answers to the following question: “Is digital storytelling functional in teaching socioscientific issues?” In framework of study, stories were prepared individually by nine pre-service teachers on different topics find answer this question. The data present which was conducted with action research, collected using two methods: pre and post-interviews stories. Content analysis used analyze interviews analyzed "digital story evaluation rubric". According results obtained during pre-interviews, participants did not have experience before much knowledge about storytelling. After implementation, had predominantly positive views towards that could be a method issues. When participant products (digital stories) evaluated line criteria literature, it concluded at very satisfactory level, but content part lacked discussion questions selected issues addressed an impartial way.
